Title: Business Development Manager


We are looking for a business development manager to generate sales by selling to individuals (Students) and schools in the identified territory. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business, from prospecting to registering the sale. The candidate needs to essentially have a background of B2B (School) Sales.

Primary task:

·        Approach schools and students directly to apprise them of the solution

·        Physically meet the students / school decision makers and give them a demo of the product.

·        Regular follow up with the students / school authorities to keep building the sales pipeline.

·        Make presentations, create events where students and their parents can attend the presentation, including doing demos to individual students, parents, teachers, and school authorities.

·        Get the schools buy in for approaching the students and their parents for promoting the product and registering the students for the courses

·        Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

·        Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

·        Researching institutions and individuals to find new opportunities.

·        Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

·        Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.


·        Looking for candidates from B2B EdTech companies only.

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in school sales (technology solutions).

·        50+ school connections preferred.

·        Should have good connections with Tier 2 /3 city schools.

·        Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to express ideas.

·        Should be a resident of Raipur / Bhilai / Bokaro (Role requirement at Bhilai and Bokaro)

·        Must have exposure to online education with excellent communication skills / negotiation skills

·        Should be able to work independently- dynamic, pleasing and impressive personality with good negotiation and presentation skills

Job Responsibilities and Duties:- Get students/schools  to register for the courses and build market reach by locating, identifying, negotiating with the school authorities / parents – Identify the prospective schools for product promotion and student registration and meeting individual sales targets.- Make presentations to the school authorities / parents and students to get their consent- Negotiate with the decision makers.
