Project Architect:
- Project Management: A project architect is often responsible for overseeing the entire architectural project, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. They coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Technical Expertise: Project architects are highly skilled in technical aspects of architecture. They develop detailed plans and specifications, ensuring that the design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also structurally sound and compliant with building codes.
- Coordination with Consultants: They collaborate with engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and other specialists to integrate their expertise into the overall project. This involves managing communication and ensuring that all elements work cohesively.
- Construction Administration: Project architects are often involved in the construction phase, overseeing the implementation of the design. They address any issues that arise during construction and ensure that the project is executed according to the approved plans.
- Code Compliance: Project architects must have a deep understanding of local building codes and regulations to ensure that the project meets legal and safety standards.
Designer:
- Conceptualization: Designers focus on the creative and aesthetic aspects of a project. They generate ideas, concepts, and design schemes that fulfill the client’s vision and project goals.
- Space Planning and Layout: Designers are responsible for arranging spaces in a visually appealing and functional manner. They consider factors such as traffic flow, spatial relationships, and user experience.
- Material and Finish Selection: Designers choose materials, colors, and finishes that align with the overall design concept. They have an eye for detail and understand how different elements contribute to the atmosphere of a space.
