Qualifications:
Some key responsibilities of the Legal Manager position include:
Provide timely and practical legal advice to senior management, project managers, and other stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues affecting the construction business.
Conduct legal research and analysis to address complex legal questions and provide recommendations for informed decision-making.
Stay informed about industry trends, legal developments, and emerging issues relevant to the construction sector.
Ability to think strategically, anticipate legal issues, and provide creative solutions to mitigate risks.
Providing legal advice and guidance to management and project teams on various legal matters, such as contract interpretation, employment law, intellectual property, and environmental regulations.
Corporate Governance: Assisting with corporate governance matters, such as corporate filings, board meetings, shareholder agreements, and compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
Claims Management : Handling claims and disputes that arise during construction projects, including issues related to contract breaches, delays, defects, and property damage. Working to resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation, if necessary.
Staying up-to-date with construction laws, regulations, and permitting requirements at the local, state, and federal levels. Ensuring that the company operates within legal boundaries and obtains necessary permits and licenses for construction projects.
Note: The Legal Manager plays a pivotal role in providing strategic legal counsel and oversight to the construction company’s operations. This position involves leading the legal department, managing complex legal issues, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within the construction industry.
Pioneer Foundation Engineers will offer salary in the range 3 LPA - 5 LPA. The exact salary will be decided based on your skills, experience and interview performance.
