Job Description: Business Development Trainee

Stipend: 10,000 INR per month during the training period + Incentive up to 50,000 INR

Job Summary:
As an Business Development Trainee at AdmitBuddy, you will be responsible for providing guidance to prospective students regarding various colleges and universities in India and abroad for multiple courses. Your role will involve a blend of business development activities and counselling responsibilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for education and a knack for sales and marketing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Counselling and Guidance:
– Provide comprehensive guidance to students regarding admission procedures, courses offered, eligibility criteria, and career prospects at various colleges and universities in India and abroad.
– Assist students in identifying their educational goals and aligning them with suitable institutions and courses.
– Address queries and concerns raised by students and their parents/guardians, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Business Development:
– Actively participate in lead generation activities to attract potential students.
– Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for promoting AdmitBuddy’s services and reaching out to target audiences.
– Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the education sector.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, counselors, and other relevant stakeholders.
3. Sales and Conversion:
– Guide prospective students through the entire admission process, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
– Follow up on leads and inquiries to ensure maximum conversion rates.
– Meet or exceed monthly targets for student enrollments and revenue generation.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate records of student interactions, inquiries, and admissions data.
– Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics such as conversion rates, lead sources, and revenue generated.
5. Continuous Learning and Development:
– Stay updated on the latest developments in the education sector, including changes in admission procedures, course offerings, and scholarship opportunities.
– Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance counselling skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Skills Required:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
3. Empathetic and patient attitude towards students’ concerns.
4. Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
5. Good organizational and time management skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Basic understanding of marketing principles and techniques (preferred).
8. Knowledge of educational institutions and courses in India and abroad (preferred).

AdmitBuddy will offer salary in the range 1 LPA - 1.5 LPA. The exact salary will be decided based on your skills, experience and interview performance.
