Job Description of Business Development Executive
Our growing company is in need of an experienced and resourceful Business Development Executive to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. We’re searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term value for organizations. First and foremost, we’re looking for a leader who understands how to leverage real data and capitalize on business trends and opportunities and also who is customer-obsessed and ready to solve the changing needs of our clients. Candidates should have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team in an evolving industry landscape.
Job roles and responsibilities
The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organization’s sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:
Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
Keep prospective client databases updated.
Make cold calls for new business leads.
Support in writing new business proposals.
Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company.
Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients.
Competencies and Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum 2-year working experience as a Business Developer.
Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients.
Must possess strong customer service skills.
Must have good negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making.
Must be able to create good presentations.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be detail-oriented and an active listener.
Experience in project management and/or sales.
Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
CRM experience is preferred
