Job Description
Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize the supply chain processes at UClean’s Faridabad location. This role involves managing the end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet company objectives.
- Procurement Management: Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and managing purchase orders to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and minimize stockouts.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics and transportation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and service locations.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring high-quality standards.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent negotiation and communication abilities, and proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends.
